K2’s new Rival BC has a unique beanie liner that makes this the full package for the ascent and the decent.

Take the shell off and leave the beanie on for comfort and ventilation on the ascent. When you put the shell on, synthetic “Cat Tongue” laminates integrate the beanie and the helmet, allowing the helmet to slide on with ease, yet grip the beanie once in place. The unique In-Mold design, clean lines and minimal weight make this model the choice for riders who like to explore everything the mountain has to offer.

• In Mold Helmet Construction:
  In-Mold is the premium construction for ultra-lightweight performance helmets and is characterized by an EPS liner that is bonded to a lightweight poly-carbonate (PC) shell utilizing a distinct molding process. Unlike Hard-Shell construction, the lightweight EPS inner layer of the helmet is fused directly to the thin PC shell during molding. The result is a super light and protective envelope with minimal weight.
• Passive Channel Venting:
  Channels on the inside surface of the EPS direct air-flow between your head and the helmet, removing moisture and excess heat; keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Available on all K2 helmets.
